Immediately after the Perugia Music Festival, I traveled to Israel to take part in the prestigious Tel-Hai International Piano Masterclasses festival. Due to the current tense situation, the festival could not take place in the desert as usual, but was held in Tel-Aviv for the first time this year.
The first highlight for me personally was the master class with Asaf Zohar. I played the first movement of the Schumann Piano Concerto, second piano: Sulayman Human. It was an amazing masterclass and Prof. Zohar inspired me a lot!

The second highlight were the lessons with Prof. Emanuel Krasovsky. Every single lesson was an experience in itself. One day I brought the Schumann Piano Concerto, another day Chopin Mazurkas and another day the Beethoven Sonata Op. 110, which I was later able to play in a master class with the incredible pianist Dror Semmel, who had an amount of knowledge of music, its history and science, that I had never seen before. I learned so much in every lesson that I can’t put it into words. I am extremely grateful for these lessons and the two Masterclasses. They revealed to me a perspective on the pieces that was really inspiring.

The last highlight (besides my 18th birthday) was the final concert where I was chosen to play. I played a few Chopin Mazurkas and it was a very exciting experience. In conclusion, the Tel Hai international Piano Masterclass was a very instructive and interesting week that had a deep impact on me. I hope I can take part in the festival again next year.
